They were &lt;b &gt;aimed&lt;/b&gt; at them in training, and even if it hurts, you can tough it out. Plus, you already have your flight and hotel room paid for your entry fee, and you will be with a group of friends. You have to run this race. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;b&gt;Solution:&lt;/b&gt; Run the race. You can still go and cheer with your friends. Or you can cancel your room, save your ticket for another trip andpay the fee change. There are an awful lot of myths out there about Plantar Fasciitis. The condition is not caused by trauma or by the wrong &lt;b &gt;shoes&lt;/b&gt; or by a heel spur.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It is a mechanical condition. There a numerous variations but the main one is a sharp pain in the inside/front portion of the heel bone that can extend into the midfoot.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The tissue that connects the heel bone and joint of the big toe is your plantar fascia and is made of similar tissue tendons and ligaments. It is the foundation of your arch. The plantar fascia has a limited flexibility that is needed pronated as part of the &amp;quot;shock absorption&amp;quot; part of the arch to the foot. Pronation is a combination of internal rotation of the tibia, twisting the heel and other foot movements. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; If a person is over-pronator, the plantar fascia is overloaded. RememberThis happens every time you take a step, then in a runner, the problem raised by the increased mileage, and the plantar force. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; Plantar fasciitis does not appear out of nowhere, it builds up over years. The pain that people with plantar fasciitis experience occurs when the stretching of the plantar fascia attachment caused an inflammation of the plantar fascia of the heel. Despite these differences, all runners are prone to foot problems. Common foot and ankle conditions in runners include blisters, athlete&amp;#39;s foot, ankle sprains, stress fractures, tendinitis and plantar fasciitis. Fortunately, most of these conditions canprevented and many are easy to treat. If ignore foot and ankle conditions, they can be hard to treat and often resistant to therapy. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;b&gt;Heel spur&lt;/b&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; One million runners are heel pain develop each year. The most common cause of heel pain is plantar fasciitis, which is the result of more stress through a long ribbon-structure (the plantar fascia) in the lower part of the foot.
